About liveSTORYBOARD Inc.
liveSTORYBOARD's mission is to raise expectations in web content management. With liveSTORYBOARD CMS, web teams keep their sites fresh with ease and confidence.
Management
Rob and Iva Koberg founded liveSTORYBOARD Inc. in January of 2001. Prior to that, Rob and Iva were Development and Interface Engineering Directors at Pearson Plc's
Learning Network
. Pearson is an international media company with market-leading businesses in education, business information and consumer publishing. Prior to Learning Network, Rob and Iva were part of Macromedia's
Dreamweaver, Course Builder and Authorware development teams. Macromedia is a leading software provider for the internet, print and education industries.
Through the years of dealing with various web sites and web applications with diverse types of content requirements, Rob and Iva constantly felt the need for an easy-to-use, flexible and powerful web-based content management system -- one that allows businesses to create and update professional grade web sites, with or without technical skills in-house. We were certain that such a CMS could and should be priced to be affordable for smaller businesses and individual writers, designers, and developers...
We were right: liveSTORYBOARD CMS is our answer to the growing need for simple, powerful and affordable web content management, and thanks to our wonderfully supportive growing list of clients, we are quickly achieving our mission of raising the expectations in content management!

What to expect from working with us
Expertise and unbiased recommendations. For example that we are not religious about Open Source or commercial software -- we use and recommend both to clients, depending on what's most appropriate.
Transferring our knowledge back to the client when appropriate. On one hand, we never overload clients with information they have entrusted us to make decisions on. On the other, we believe in educating our clients when needed in subjects that are not their core competency to help teams make intelligent unbiased decisions rather than taking our word for it.
Ongoing advice in all areas we can be of value to, whether part of our immediate deliverables or not. We work with a reliable expert resource pool and pull in valuable expertise as appopriate.
Looking out for the clients' interests throughout and past completion of specific projects. For example, we often question requirements to make sure that a specific implementation best serves the longer term goals. Another example, as technology and client needs change, when we learn or implement something new, we often come back to clients whose projects may be complete and recommend an enhancement or alternatives that may have become more feasible that they were during development.
We prefer collaborating rather than implementing requirements in a vacuum. On most projects, we set up a client extranet where we keep track of project information, meeting minutes, random idea logs, schedule updates and so on. Such collaboration tools help us be an active participant in the project and improve communication. As one of our clients says, we are your "thinking partner".
